Alhaurin
Alhaurín el Grande is a Spanish municipality in the province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalucía. It is located in the center-south of the province, within the region of the Guadalhorce Valley and the judicial district of Coín. Its municipal area occupies an area of 73.1 km² that extends along the northern slope of the Sierra de Mijas and the fertile plain of the Guadalhorce River, where citrus and other orchard crops alternate with orchards. The population reaches 24,751 inhabitants, according to data from the 2017 Census. It is bordered by Coín, Cártama, Alhaurín de la Torre and Mijas.
Alhaurín de la Torre is a city and Spanish municipality of the province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalucía. It is located 18 km from the provincial capital, in the region of the Guadalhorce Valley and in turn within the Metropolitan Area.
The municipality covers an area of 82 km² between the Sierra de Mijas and the Hoya de Málaga, and is crossed by the Guadalhorce River. Alhaurín Golf is one of the most spectacular golf courses in Spain. It consists of 18 holes par 72, designed by the legendary player Severiano Ballesteros and 9 holes par 3, with excellent views of the Sierra de Mijas and the Mediterranean Sea.
